2020 Lineup Announcement
The 1st edition of NIGHTSTREAM was presented by the Boston Underground, Brooklyn Horror, North Bend, Overlook and Popcorn Frights film festivals and ran from October 8-11, 2020.
The World Premiere of Sarah Paulson Led Thriller RUN opened the festival while Quentin Dupieux’s MANDIBLES closed. Featured conversations with CANDYMAN director Nia DaCosta, Mary Harron on the 20th Anniversary of AMERICAN PSYCHO, and Dinner With The Masters Of Horror Hosted by Festival Honoree Mick Garris, occurred alongside an impressive events slate headlined by some of horror’s greatest icons.
Additional highlights included the World Premiere of Ryûhei Kitamura’s THE DOORMAN starring Ruby Rose, a spotlight on Indonesian Horror featuring theInternational Premiere of Timo Tjahjanto’s MAY THE DEVIL TAKE YOU TOO, and events hosted by Peaches Christ, A QUIET PLACE’s Beck/Woods, and directing duo Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson along with Mexican director Issa Lopez.
